Terms and Conditions

FOR GOOD CAUSES VOUCHER TERMS -

1.1 These For Good Causes Reward Voucher Terms (the “For Good Causes Voucher Terms”) set out the terms and conditions which govern your purchase of For Good Causes Voucher Codes (“FGC Vouchers”) from the BP Rewards Catalogue and Redeem section of the website and is an agreement between you and BP. Capitalized terms have the meanings given to them in Section 12 of these For Good Causes Purchase Terms.

1.2 When you place a FGC Voucher order (“Order”), including by clicking ‘Proceed’, then ‘Confirm redemption', you agree to be bound by these For Good Causes Purchase Terms. You also acknowledge that your purchase and subsequent use of a FGC Voucher and/or For Good Causes services are subject to For Good Cause's terms and conditions (available at https://www.forgoodcauses.org/terms-and-conditions/ and as may be updated from time to time) (“For Good Causes Terms”)(“Aggregate Terms”).

2. Order

2.2 You may make an Order via the Redeem section of the website in exchange for your BPme Rewards Points. Our acceptance of your Order will take place when we email you to confirm receipt of your Order, at which point a contract will come into existence between you and us.

2.3 If we are unable to accept your Order, we will inform you of this and will not remove the applicable BPme Rewards Points from your BPme Account for the FGC Voucher. This might be because of unexpected limits in our resources which we could not reasonably plan for or because we have identified an error in the price or description of the FGC Voucher.

2.4 The Redeem section of the website is solely for the promotion of FGC Vouchers in the UK. We do not accept orders from addresses outside the UK.

2.5 You agree and acknowledge that For Good Causes deducts a small commission from each donation to cover the cost of the distribution to the over 17,000 charities in its network. The fee charged is 10%. This means that if you donate a £5 to charity using a FGC Voucher, the charity will receive £4.50.

3. Delivery

3.1 We aim to make the FGC Vouchers available to you as soon as we accept your Order and in any event within twenty-four (24) hours after the day on which we accept your FGC Voucher Order. Where we deliver the FGC Vouchers to you immediately, you agree that you will not have a right to change your mind.

3.2 FGC Vouchers will be delivered to you to via the email address you provided to us.

3.3 We are not responsible for delays outside our control. If our supply of the FGC Vouchers is delayed by an event outside our control then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided we do this we will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to end the contract and receive a BPme Rewards Points refund for any FGC Vouchers you have paid for but not received

4. Provision of FGC Vouchers

4.1 You will be able to exchange your BPme Rewards Points for FGC Vouchers as set out in the BPme Rewards website.

4.2 The FGC Voucher will be your responsibility from the time we deliver the FGC Voucher to you.

6. Use of FGC Vouchers

6.1 You cannot resell the FGC Vouchers. You cannot redeem the FGC Vouchers for more than face value, transfer for value, redeem for cash, or return for a cash refund (except to the extent required by law).

6.2 We and For Good Causes reserve the right to void or reject any FGC Voucher that is suspected to have been obtained or created by fraud, data breach, account compromise, or any other improper or illegal conduct. We have no responsibility to reissue or replace FGC Vouchers that are lost, stolen, misappropriated, or cancelled as a result of the foregoing conduct.

6.3 We may update or require you to update digital content, provided that the digital content shall always match the description of it that we provided to you before you bought it.

6.4 Please liaise with For Good Causes customer service team regarding matters relating to the use and redemption of the FGC Voucher.

7. Ending the Contract by You

7.1 Your rights when you end the contract will depend on whether there is anything wrong with the FGC Voucher, how we are performing and why you decide to end this contract.

7.2 If what you have bought is faulty or misdescribed you may have a legal right to end the contract (or to get the FGC Voucher replaced). Please see Section 9 for more information.

7.3 If you want to end the contract because of something we have done or have told you we are going to do, as set out in this Section

7.3, the contract will end immediately, and we will refund the BPme Rewards Points to you in full for any FGC Vouchers which have not been provided. The reasons are: a) we have told you about an error in the BPme Rewards Points price or description of the FGC Voucher you have ordered and you do not wish to proceed; or b) there is a risk that supply of the FGC Vouchers may be significantly delayed because of events outside our control.

7.4 To end the contract with us, please let us know by calling our careline on 0800 402 402. Please provide your name, home address, details of the order and, where available, your phone number and email address.

7.5 We will refund you the number of BPme Rewards Points used by you, to order the FGC Vouchers, into your BPme Account.

7.6 Where you are entitled to a refund of BPme Rewards Points, we will make any refunds due to you as soon as possible.

8. Ending the Contract by Us

8.1 We may end the contract for a FGC Voucher at any time by writing to you if: (a) you do not, within a reasonable time of us asking for it, provide us with information that is necessary for us to provide the FGC Vouchers, for example, your email address; or (b) you are in breach of any of the Aggregate Terms.

9. Problem with FGC Voucher

9.1 If you have any questions or complaints about the FGC Voucher, please contact us. You can telephone our careline on 0800 402 402. 9.2 We are under a legal duty to supply FGC Vouchers that are in conformity with this contract.

10. Loss and Damage

10.1 Any matters relating to your use of the FGC Vouchers through For Good Causes or third-party websites (including without limitation the purchase of goods or services) are between you and For Good Causes and / or the relevant third-party website. We are not responsible and accept no liability with respect to any such matters. We are further not responsible for any actions or inactions of For Good Causes or other third party in relation to the subsequent use of the FGC Vouchers through For Good Causes Sites and third-party Sites.

10.2 If we fail to comply with this contract, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract or our failing to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it would happen or if, at the time the contract was made, both we and you knew it might happen, for example, if you discussed it with us during the sales process.

10.3 We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors; for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; for breach of your legal rights in relation to the FGC Vouchers and for defective FGC Vouchers under the Consumer Protection Act 1987.

10.4 If defective FGC Vouchers which we have supplied damages a device or digital content belonging to you and this is caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill we will either repair the damage or pay you reasonable compensation. However, we will not be liable for damage which you could have avoided by following our advice to have in place the minimum system requirements where advised to you by us.

10.5 We only supply the FGC Vouchers for domestic and private use. If you use the FGC Vouchers for any commercial, business or re-sale purpose we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

11. Contact

11.1 We may need certain information from you so that we can supply the FGC Vouchers to you, for example, your name and email address. If you do not give us this information within a reasonable time of us asking for it, or if you give us incomplete or incorrect information, we may either end the contract or make an additional charge of a reasonable sum to compensate us for any extra work that is required as a result. We will not be responsible for supplying the FGC Vouchers late or not supplying them if this is caused by you not giving us the information we need within a reasonable time of us asking for it.

11.3 If we have to contact you we will do so by telephone or by writing to you at the email address or postal address you provided to us in your order.

12. Definitions

12.1 “Affiliate” means with respect to any person or entity (including a Party), any other person or entity that directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by or is under common control with that person or entity.

12.2 “For Good Causes” means For Good Causes Ltd, a limited company registered in England and Wales. Registered number 10397971. Registered office 1 Cottesbrooke Park, Heartlands Business Park, Daventry, Northamptonshire, England, NN118YL.

12.4 “Sites” means the For Good Causes website located at https://www.forgoodcauses.org/ and certain other websites owned and operated by For Good Causes or its Affiliate and any other third party websites where FGC Vouchers are accepted, as specified by For Good Causes from time to time, including any of its successors or replacements.

12.5 “BPme Account” means the registered account.

12.6 “Order” means an order offer placed by you for the purchase of FGC Voucher.
